The principal concern facing the Villas and Boundary Lane is the eventual disposition of the Walker Drive 32-acre mixed use industrial planned unit development approved by the Warrenton Town Council in May, 2017. The rezoning was disputed by residents of both the Villas and the Edgemont Homeowner’s Association because of the potential traffic, light and noise impacts on those neighborhoods. The dispute moved through the Courts but was upheld by the Virginia Supreme Court.

It is unclear what will become of the development.
